III · The Glint Room

Counters for sale, value not included

This room does exactly one thing: it puts more Glints on your table sooner than the house would have got round to it. It sells no advantage, no room, no odds and nothing at all that leaves the building.

Entirely optional Virtual Glints only No cash value 18+ only

Every room in this house runs on free counters and will carry on doing so. An allowance arrives on its own every three hours, and a table scraped clean is filled again at no charge — which leaves the Glint Room with impatience as the only thing it has to sell.

What a purchase produces is a larger number in this browser. The drums do not turn more kindly afterwards, the wheel does not lean towards a better sector, and no room is informed that anything happened. There is no tier to reach, no membership to hold and no back room to be shown into.

And the counters go no further than the six rooms, the same as the ones we hand out for nothing. Bought or given, a Glints is a mark on a score and stops at the front door.

In-game purchases are available. This is the part worth reading before the price list.

Glints are virtual counters kept inside these rooms and nothing besides. They hold no monetary value. No arrangement here turns them back into cash; they are never redeemed against goods, vouchers, chips or prizes of any description; and they cannot be sent, gifted or traded to another player, because no route for it has ever been built. Paying for counters is not a wager: it enlarges a score and creates no prospect of gaining anything of real worth.

Purchases are for adults of eighteen and over. Where a device is shared, keep the payment methods on it locked — a card left open does not ask who is holding the phone. And none of this is ever necessary: every room stays open on free Glints for as long as you care to sit in it.

The free route

The counters you already have, at no charge

The cheapest part of this page, and the one the house would rather you used.

You sit down with 5,000 Glints. A further allowance is placed on the table every three hours whether you ask for it or not, and if the balance reaches nothing the house tops it back up for free. Nobody here is walked towards a price list by an empty table; that would be a poor way to run a room where nothing is at stake.

Your balance in Glints 5,000

The allowance turns up on its own. No card, no account and no gratitude required.

The counter shop

Four piles, none of them necessary

Prices are in US dollars. What arrives is a number in this browser, credited at once, spendable in six rooms and nowhere on earth besides.

What the money actually buys

  • A larger pile of Glints in this browser, credited the moment the payment clears
  • A longer sitting, with no pause to wait out the next free allowance
  • Nothing further, in any room, at any hour, under any circumstance

What it does not buy

  • Money, cash refunds, goods, vouchers, chips, tokens or prizes
  • Kinder odds, a softer room, or any edge over somebody who paid nothing
  • A place in a draw, raffle or sweepstake — the house holds none
  • Anything transferable: counters stay in your browser and travel to no one

Small print

Billing, refunds and the usual dullness

How a payment is handled

Glints are digital content, delivered the instant a payment clears. Where local law gives you a right to withdraw from a distance purchase, that right can end as soon as delivery starts, and the checkout will say so plainly before you agree to anything. There is no subscription here, nothing recurring and nothing to cancel.

If a payment misbehaves — charged twice, counters that never arrived, a purchase nobody in your household admits to — write to [email protected] within fourteen days with the receipt and we will look into it. The full account is in the Terms of Use.

Answered within two business days Never a real-money wager

Keeping the shop harmless

Since nothing here can be won, a purchase can only ever cost you the price on the label and buy you a longer evening. We would still rather it stayed a small one. Set yourself a ceiling before you open this page, and treat a pile of counters as what it is: scenery.

The Responsible Social Gaming Policy sets out how to silence purchase prompts altogether, how to wipe a balance and begin again from nothing, and what to write if you would like the door shut on this device for a while. A note to the address above does it, and we do not argue.

A pile of counters proves nothing about anywhere else.

Success in social casino games does not imply future success in real-money gambling. Our rooms are tuned for pacing and mood; wagering with money is tuned for margin and carries genuine financial risk. PlayMischief runs no real-money gambling, holds no draws and links to no operator who does — not from this page, not from any other on playmischief.com.

The obvious suggestion

Or buy nothing, and play anyway

The free counters are already on the table, the rooms cannot tell the difference, and the house has no cashier to be disappointed.
