The same twelve questions, every night
Guests want to know what the counters are, whether they turn into anything, who is let in, and where the catch is kept. Here they are in the order they usually arrive.
The short version, for anyone who would rather not open twelve panels: this is a social casino. The games keep the shape of casino games and leave out the part that costs money. The balance is called Glints, it is handed over at no charge, and there is no desk anywhere in the building at which it becomes money, goods or anything a guest could carry home. That is the catch, and it is the whole of it.
Purchases exist and stay optional. They buy a larger pile of the same weightless counters a little sooner, and nothing besides — no kinder odds, no seventh door, no advantage over somebody who never spends a penny here. If the answers below read more bluntly than you expected, it is because a house with nothing to sell you has no reason to be delicate.
The first answer is already open; the rest unfold when you ask for them. Nothing on this page needs a script to work, and nothing on it moves.
Is this gambling?
It is not. PlayMischief is a social casino: the games borrow the shapes of casino games and none of the stakes. Everything is played with Glints, a virtual balance with no monetary value. Nothing is wagered, nothing is paid out, and there is nothing here to lose except the time you meant to spend.
Can anything here turn into money?
No. Glints do not convert into cash, goods, vouchers, tokens or any other item of value. We hold no draws, no raffles and no sweepstakes, and we award no prizes of any kind. The balance is a score kept for your own amusement.
What exactly are Glints?
They are the house counters. You arrive with 5,000, a further allowance appears every three hours, and if you run the balance down we top it back up at no charge. They exist only inside these rooms and nowhere else.
Do I ever have to pay?
Never. Every room stays open on free Glints indefinitely. The Glint Room exists for people who would rather not wait for the next allowance; it buys a larger balance and nothing else — no better odds, no extra rooms, no advantage.
Can I cash out or hand Glints to a friend?
No. Glints cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, refunded in cash equivalents, traded, gifted or moved between players. There is no mechanism for it, by design.
How old must I be?
Eighteen. We ask you to confirm it before the first room opens, and we do not permit anyone under 18 to use the site, with or without an adult present.
Is there an account to make?
There is not. Your balance lives in your own browser, so it belongs to the device you play on. Clear the browser data and you start again at 5,000, which costs you nothing.
If I do well here, does that mean anything elsewhere?
It means nothing at all. Success in social casino games does not imply future success in real-money gambling. These rooms are tuned for pacing and mood, not to imitate any commercial product. Real gambling carries real financial risk and behaves differently in every respect that matters.
Why is the house so generous?
Because the house has nothing to protect. When no money crosses the table, the payout rates are a question of rhythm rather than margin. Read nothing into them.
Who is allowed in?
Adults in English-speaking markets where free social gaming is permitted. Checking that it is lawful where you are sitting is your responsibility, not ours; if it is not, please close the door on your way out.
How do I stop for a while?
